Cool chocolate fashion

Frances Cooley a gourmet desert designer who created the ultimate woman’s fantasy – stiletto heels and handbags made of pure chocolate. Frances came from Clifton, Bristol, she decided to launched her creation after finding a vintage chocolate shoe mould in Belgium.

She said: ”People are wowed about them because it’s the perfect gift for a woman – chocolate and stiletto shoes put together. ”They’ve been selling like hot cakes. This past year sales have been incredible. ”They’ve been sold alongside pink champagne at some stores as well, and I could see someone drinking the champagne right out of the shoe.”

Her unique designs have become so popular that they have garnered attention from high-end retailers in London – including luxury department store Liberty.

She added: ”A friend, who is a French chef, had a meeting at Liberty in London and he suggested that I accompany him in case they might be interested in selling my cakes. ”They were immediately interested in the shoes and started talking about packages and designs. ”About six months ago I got my first order from them, and as well as selling my products, Liberty has also used my chocolate shoes for promoting events.”

The success of her chocolate shoes inspired her to create a matching range of a chocolate handbag version which all the people love and adore aswell.

The latest Versace Men’s RTW collection

Versace is bang on trend on his latest Versace Men’s RTW collection,  it’s a trip back to the future via the cyberpunk universe depicted in the forthcoming “Tron” sequel.

Donatella Versace said that “We’re going back to the values of the Gianni Versace man from the early Nineties,” “Leather, hardware, chains, metal: He’s very strong.” Indeed, a strong will – and a taut physique – may be required in order to sport several of the pieces from this stick-to-the-ribs collection.

You will witness the models in shield-like eyewear sported stud-mottled motorcycle jackets with patent-leather trousers and gleaming combat boots. Fine knits were toughened up with intricately stitched-on leather and topped with epaulettes for an armored look.

We knew Versace for his undisputed knack with a sexy, futuristic wardrobe, but given today’s risk-averse climate, the brand turned back the clock to a tricky time.

Cristiano the new face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Jeans

Cristiano Ronaldo appears to have embraced his new modelling career with the striking series of steamy hot poses showing off his six-pack as the face of the new campaign for Emporio Armani Underwear and jeans. The black-and-white images for the Spring/Summer 2010 campaign were shot on location in Madrid by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Armani said “Cristiano is a great-looking young man with the perfect physique of an athlete,” he also added that “Cristiano is the essence of youth – spontaneous, exciting and a real maverick. It is for his energy that I have chosen him to become the new face of Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear – for his youthful, exciting, and, yes, sexy attitude.”

Cristiano says: “Giorgio Armani is a legend in the fashion world and I have long been a fan of his work. I am very pleased with the pictures we have done together – they are certainly striking and are full of attitude and a spirit I can relate to.”

Anna Molinari Blumarine RTW collection

Anna Molinari whipped up a girlish homage to the island and its culture with her motto “Jamaica me crazy” for her Bluemarine collection. She opened the catwalk with a tropical tie-dye story, in an explosion of bright fuchsias, tangerines, sorbet yellows and limes.

And while only the pluckiest of gals could rock the look head-to-toe with a pumping reggae soundtrack, there were plenty of terrific summer items to be pulled like vibrant caftans, breezy blouses and sweater dresses.

Then came the brief sexy-safari spell in a toned-down palette of neutrals and golds  before Molinari’s full-on Rastafarian romp, with camo getups and punky tricolor streetwear.

As for her signature slinky goddess gowns all ruched, twisted and crystal embellished they were there, too, jazzed up a perky notch in those cheerful two-tone dyes.
